[Hi Yoshi, Ellie finally managed to send you a message of sorts. It only took her two days to finally say something. She just. Has to do it while curling up with a heart pillow and a plush toy she asked the staff for.]
Yoshi, could we talk for a bit? I know this is probably a bad time, but...
I didn't mean see you literally, just. You know, having you around. Holding hands definitely is a thing we could do, though I think I might have used up my limit for the day.
If we really wanted to do something about seeing, we probably could manage something easily enough, though it probably wouldn't last when you leave.
Well, we've already seen with Appy that as long as it's something like wrapping a blanket around yourself, we can know where you are. And while that's not quite seeing, it lets us know where you are. We could also try something like putting your hands in something like flour. Maybe glitter would work, too?
It would probably be left behind after you go through a closed door, though.
So, um. The reason I called you here, umm... This is probably goign to be a bit of a serious talk, but with the "Monsters" possessing people... It's something that I have talk about.
Yeah. You see, people in my world have something called "star energy" inside their body. Normally it isn't a problem, but for children who haven't learned to control it, it can be dangerous, especially if they have a lot of it.
Just to be safe, kids are given a special kind of seal to keep their powers under control during their first year of school, but I was an orphan, so I never got that seal. So one day... The star energy inside of my body went out of control, and my body kind of... exploded a little? I think that's the best way to describe it.
At that time, a boy a year older than me rushed over, telling me not to die, and doing whatever he could to stop the bleeding. And at that time... My star energy stopped going out of control. And if someone wanted me to live that much... I wanted to make sure to live, no matter what.
Well, the injuries were too severe for me to survive, so I still ended up dying a few days later.
Of course, that's not exactly where things ended, or I wouldn't be here like this.

i've been visiting people since the trial ended
i can walk through doors now!

To be honest, i'm not sure which one I want to do myself. I'd like to see you in person, but I'm a little afraid to.

all we'd really be able to do is hold hands
but you could talk out loud and i'll be able to hear!

[She sets the bowl down on a desk as she says so.]
I kind of just got the idea while talking, so I just got some from the staff as quickly as I could, but this should help a bit, at least.

pausing
and then wiping off a bit on what's probably a cheek.
The hand then goes on to very obviously type away on some kind of tablet.]
done!

It might be a bit of a mess later, but for now, we can see each other.
[And just to prove that, she goes to hold his hand once he's finished typing. For uh. 15 seconds or so. Sorry Yoshi, she still has limits.]

that's a lot of practice for today!

You were there when I mentioned that someone saved my life when I was a kid, right? Well, that... wasn't exactly true. I died a few days later.
[She thinks a few people might have already figured that part out, but... who knows? Still, it has to be said.]
no subject
[Yeah he didn't get the memo there.]
