Right. Actually, when I became an S-Rank, there were only six of them: me, three second years, a third year, and one of the teachers was an S-Rank too. We weren't all a team yet at that point. The third year, Feene, was basically on semi-permanent cleanup duty outside one of the more dangerous dusk circles to minimize the damage done from Dusk Monsters, and the only male S-Rank, Alec, was basically in charge of all the defenses in Fort City, so we never really had a chance to work with him properly.
He and God's Gift were pretty close, though. To the point where they actually did the Classmating ritual together at one point.

Okay, so. In my world, Aterra, everyone's born with Star Energy inside of them. I've mentioned that before, I think. Star Energy itself is split between six elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Wind, Dusk, and Ether. I've talked about Dusk and Ether with you a bit before.
But Ether is actually really important, and we normally couldn't enter the Dusk Labyrinths, because using Star Energy requires a certain amount of Ether in the atmosphere, and Dusk Labyrinths have no Ether inside them.
But if there's someone whose body produces enough Ether, it makes it possible to enter the Dusk Labyrinths with a group to explore it and seal the Labyrinth. The person with that kind of power is known as the "God's Gift" according to the teachings of the Aterra church, and coincidentally, one showed up at about the same time I arrived in Fort City, so he was assigned to the same team as most of us S-Ranks, and we were given the job of entering the Labyrinths. God's Gift was also um... Someone I knew as a kid.

So, there's a Ritual back in Aterra, held by the main Aterra church. In short, by mixing the Ether of a male and the star energy of a female into a magical tool known as a Matryoshka, it can produce magical warriors known as Star Children. And part of our duty as S-Ranks and the God's Gift's duty as a... God's Gift, is to perform the Classmating ritual as much as possible to help produce an army to help fight off the Dusk Monsters. After all, doing those things together guaranteed a Star Child would be produced, even though normally it would only be... a 0.003% chance I think it was?
[I'm sorry, she just starts coughing in response to that, yes. I know we're sort of dating, but... We've known each other for two months??? Isn't it a bit early to be contemplating marriage???]

Even if you say that, it's hard to actually say anything for sure there. I mean, it's not like I got much more than living expenses when I was working for the Church, and "living expenses" are pretty low when they know you don't need to eat or drink.
I haven't really... had any personal possessions that weren't gifts before ending up in the Foundation...
Um, let's see... I think I like mostly sweet foods? Based on what I've had so far, at least. Aside from that... I guess I like plush toys? I can never afford them, though, so I have to try and get them from crane games, which...
